ecryptfs and ssh key authentication

Asked by Sebastian

Are there plans to create a possibility to get your ecryptfs activated when logging in via ssh using ssh key (eg. using ssh-agent)?

Like, ecryptfs store another copy of the encryption passphrase wrapped with the user's public key, so the passphrase can be decrypted for mounting the FS using the authentication information provided by ssh-agent?

User would then need to call a procedure to generate the appropriate wrapped-passphrase for each ssh-key he wants to use, but this list should be quite early terminating ;)

Alternatively, include sth. like the solution from http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1332820 in the ecryptfs standard install?

Sorry, but there are currently no plans to do anything like that.

Can you help with this problem?
