ecap how to call icap?

It is possible to write an eCAP adapter that will translate eCAP calls into transactions with an ICAP server. In fact, there are [very] tentative plans to do something like that for Squid.

However, no such eCAP adapter exists today. Moreover, since the only proxy that currently supports eCAP also supports ICAP, you can already use ICAP with that proxy. You do not need eCAP for that!

If you could describe the actual problem you are trying to solve, we may have a better chance of making progress than considering various seemingly random combinations of applications and protocols with no real context.
