Build for windows

Can I build ecap under windows to make it work with squid for windows?

I finally managed to create an un-gzipping adapter, ecap works like a charm, thank you (and squid team) for the product.
Just wondering if it's possible to make it work under windows as a .dll

This is a question for the Squid Project, not eCAP, but I believe the code used by Squid to load eCAP modules in Unix-specific. You may be able to use it under cygwin or a similar wrapper, but I am not sure.

My recommendation is to try it. If you find eCAP library bugs or problems on Windows (other than the lack of a Windows-specific build scripts or project files), please report it here. If you find Squid bugs or problems on Windows , please report it using Squid bugzilla.
