Cannot Open EasyUbuntu

Im using Fiesty Fawn. When i go to run EasyUbuntu under Applications>System Tools>EasyUbuntu, it asks for permission to run, which i grant to it, it then shows "Starting Administrative App..." at the bottom in the programs bar and then it just disappears.

could it be missing something it needs, and quits out, has any kind of log been generated?

I dont think it works on Feisty. Why not use Easy Codec Installation?

I had the same problem when installing from the repository, but I installed easyubuntu fine when I downloaded the deb of the website and installed that package.

Can you help with this problem?
