Please try http://easyubuntu.freecontrib.org/easyubuntu_latest.deb

It was a bug due to edgy and shell problems.

I believe this should work now, can you check http://easyubuntu.freecontrib.org/files/easyubuntu_latest.deb

Hello,

I'm also having problems with installing on edgy.

Today I downloaded the http://easyubuntu.freecontrib.org/easyubuntu_latest.deb, still when I run it from kde, it displays one dialog box and hangs for ever.
I run it from the command line, here is an error message I get:

Please try it without the sources.list option, i will try to fix after
about a week. I don't have access to my dev machine currently.

Hi!

I'm having the same problem of mickeym on Ubuntu with Xfce (or Xubuntu, if you prefer).

I've dowloaded easyubuntu from http://easyubuntu.freecontrib.org/files/easyubuntu_latest.deb, but I wasn't able to run sucessfully the command

  wget http://packages.freecontrib.org/ubuntu/plf/12B83718.gpg -O - | sudo apt-key add -

because it answer me the url doesn't exist.

When I press "OK" in easyubuntu, in the terminal appear python's errors and it stops.
Is there any solution?

Thank you.

The python traceback points directly to the problem: the condition on the referenced line should start with "elif len(arguments) > 2 and ..." etc. Fixing that bug and regenerating the pyc lets EasyUbuntu run normally.

Filed a bug report as Bug #76855.

Can you help with this problem?
