Easyubuntu is not supported for Edgy yet. If you are looking for an alternative easy installer for applications that are not in the repository, try Automatix2.

Installing EasyUbuntu under Feisty - 7.04
I like to use EasyUbuntu but could not get it working under Feisty without doing a bit of fiddling.

If you would like to use EasyUbuntu under Feisty please follow these steps, but remember that the current release of EasyUbuntu was NOT written for Feisty and could cause problems with your system

Download EasyUbuntu version 3.0 from here

Once download run the following command from the terminal or via Alt-F2

Code:

wget -q http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/repo/medibuntu-key.gpg -O- | sudo apt-key add -

Now double click on easyubuntu_latest.deb and install the package

Once installed enter the following command into the terminal or via Alt-F2

Code:

sudo mv /usr/lib/easyubuntu/packagelist-edgy.xml /usr/lib/easyubuntu/packagelist-feisty.xml
