PLF - Replacement?

Now that the PLF repository is no longer updated for Ubuntu, will you be looking at alternatives or staying with the repository?

i believe there are few viable alternatives [1], however if you have a
sugestion, we would like to hear it!

[1] there are lots of 'personal' repositories, but they are not stable
enough for our needs (is my understanding).
