What exactly doesn't work for you? Do you get any error messages or the like? Without more specific information it's difficult to help.
Usually, it should be sufficient to copy dvisvgm.exe to directory miktex\bin where all the other executables, like latex.exe, are located. For more complex dvi files, you also need Ghostscript which can be downloaded from http://www.ghostscript.com.

I have miktex installed. Ok that's working

Now I have to add special parameters to create a dvi file into Texwork (with which tools), because YAP is constantly crashing

then I have to copy dvisvgm into miktex/bion folder

Then I have to add a special command to TexWork. One only is working, it's the one with the -n parameter. I tried all the thing I could for integrating fonts : does not work....

I don't use TeXworks, so I can't really help you with it. As far as I understand the tools setup, you just have to define a new entry for dvisvgm and add the parameters "-n" and "$basename". However, for TeXworks-related questions you should better ask in the MikTeX forum.
Does dvisvgm generate correct svg files if you call it manually on the command-line?

Yep, did that and yep it works. Hoped I could see clean svg with embed fonts, I would need lighter svg....

I'm wondering why dvisvgm isn't available as a MiKTeX package? Has a request been sent to Christian? The dependencies don't seem too onerous (compared to, say, pdf2svg, which requires poppler, glib, cairo, ...).

Hi Bob,

some time ago, I asked Christian Schenk if it's possible and if he's willing to provide a MiKTeX package of dvisvgm. Unfortunately, I've never received an answer and thus thought he's not interested. However, I can't really tell if that's the case actually. If you'd like to see a MiKTeX package, I suggest to ask Christian whether he's willing to provide one.
