newbie needs DVD program w/Ubuntu

Rick, firstly - As I understand it, you have a DVD writer (Actual drive in your PC) and you only see CD Burning software listed.

Well, the default burning software that comes with Ubuntu can also write DVDs, but I like using K3B. you can also try GnomkeBaker, Graveman, Brasero, etc.

It is always a good start to do a search in Synaptic for what you are looking for, just remember to have all the repositories selected, there should be 23000+ packages listed if you have all the repositories selected.
