PCA and Swift backends don't use etag (md5 checksum)?

Asked by Krzysztof Ślazyk

Do PCA and Swift backends make use of etag (md5 checksum) on upload? (I think they don't)

If not, wouldn't that be beneficial?

From OVH Public Cloud Archive reference for developers ( https://docs.ovh.com/gb/en/storage/pca/dev/#uploading-an-archive ):
"When uploading an archive to OVH Public Cloud Archive, it is very important to verify that both the local and remote copy of the data are indentical. This is a guarantee data received remotely is correct and that nobody has been able to alter its content."

Thanks for the catch! It may be a bit before we can act on it. Python 2 to 2/3 conversion left a bunch of bugs.

Can you help with this problem?
