Google Docs Support

Asked by AG Restringere

Attn: Carlos;

I currently use Deja-Dup which is just a front-end for Duplicity which you probably already know. I also need a trusted Gnu-style open source solution that can upload these files securely to Google Docs as I have loads of free space on my accounts that I could use for this. Recently read about this new backup feature that allows uploading of the tar.gz files created by duplicity to google docs. This would be awesome. Can you send me more information on how to do this from the command line using duplicity?

Best,
AGS

Are there any additional libraries I need to install or is it 'out of the box'?

duplicity is _no_ gdocs client.. it merely allows to do backups to/restore from (remote) storages e.g. gdocs in this case.
