Thanks for this great programs, is there any plan to add the support for the Amazon S3 Asia region sometimes soon?

not to my knowledge.

you might want to post a bounty on the mailing list if you really want to use this.
shouldn't be much of a changeset, but should be done by somebody using this backend at least.
