@Joris would it be possible to make the retry amount adhere to the --max-retries cli option instead of specifing a fixed amount?

@Kenneth I'll launch a few tests on our swift setup where the bug occurs (sometimes, not reproducable but with 2500+ duplicity backups daily it will arise sometime soon) and report the findings.
