Lua support would be nice

Asked by Hungi

I've seen there is python scripting support, but as everybody knows, Direct Connect community use Lua scripts. So I want to ask you to add Lua support to DSHub. If you need help in it, check DCwatch, which is written in Java too, and supports Lua scripts: http://dcwatch.hu/?q=en I hope you can add this to make DSHub personalizable.

Yes, it is, but why not start with Lua? There are thousands of Lua scripts, so if the API followed an another hubsoft's API, we wouldn't need to write scripts again :)
I know the programmers like to form the APIs in their own way, it was just an idea.
By the way, there are many forums for DC Lua scripts, I think it should be the first, not python.
However, I hopefully wait for Lua - as soon as it will be implemented, I'll change to DSHub.

Lua support for DSHub will come in the future we just need to finish up one thing before starting another and hopefully lua scripters will help out in making it perfect when we start making it.

When the time is right ill make sure your involved in the API we need to do some cleaning on the source before any new feats is implemented so it might take awhile.
