ADC & ADCS in one HUB - Another Question

Asked by wasti

Hello again

I have another question.
Will it be possible in future Versions to connect to one HUB with adc or adcs?
With luadc is this possible - so this is why i ask
It would be importent for me to use BOT´s like DC Hublink
Thank you

You mean luadch ? Well I don;t know how it does it ( if it does it successfully ), but it's quite strange. A possible solution is to have the hub connecting users on two ports, one for adcs and one for adc. Another solution but a very difficult to achieve one, is to have a smarter application layer that inserts the SSL/TLS layer just above the transport level and beneath the adc layer, but that accordingly to some arbitrary criteria , and to have a great chance to miss in guessing which users come with a SSL connection and which one with a plain text adc over tcp direct connection.
In more simple words, it's hard to have both adc and adcs on the same hub, since you can't tell which one is who, and is rather painful and not rewarding time and effort investment.
A truly secure ADCS hub should allow secure clients only, this mixup is rather unconsistent IMHO.
DC Hublink could implement ADCS.
