Linking 2 or more hubs together

I have 2 hubs, each allowed a maximum of 25 users to connect. I have approx 45 users than need to connect, so we want to link 2 hubs together in such a way that they can share file lists and chats between the 2 hubs.

The last time we did this project it was with SDCH, (shadows DC hub) but that software has disappeared off the internet - and we found a script that would link 2 or more hubs together.

Anyone that can suggest a script or plugin for this software I would be very grateful.

Well the only program i can suggest yet is DCHublink there is a extension for ADC thats being developed called LINK which will provide chat etc the manner you are speaking about.. but only software atm that support chatlinking is DCHublink and can be found at Sourceforge // Regards Toast

Does this only link chats though? I got the impression that it wouldn't link user's files etc, just the main chat channel?

just the mainchat channel perhaps in time this feature you are asking for can be done :)

I guess so. There is no other way of linking though.... Having virtual users from one hub to another will be almost identical to having all users on the same hub ( same bandwidth usage... just less file descriptors opened... ), meaning files + download

Like I say we've done it before; just it's impossible to find the scripts etc. we had on the internet any more. SDCH used to do it pretty much out of the box.

an small update

Embla the java lib supports link so this might be a feature in the future when a cleanup of the source is done
