I've been looking into this and just figured it out when I saw your post. It should build in a couple of hours. Please check tomorrow and test. I haven't upgraded my system yet, so I don't know what might have broken.

Seems working with a few random crashes. Any plans of making the drawers (leftclick) expand into full size icons, without the "container" ?. That would make it look alot cleaner imo. And just have the configuration in settings or something, or perhaps alt(leftclick) or something. And or, for instance, have PlayOnLinux as the drawer, leftclicking on it launches playonlinux, rightclicking opens up full sized icons of wich iv put my playonlinux shortcuts, launched by leftclick. And also perhaps set the "main icon" in the unity bar to last used from within that group, so for instance. So for instance if i right click playonlinux, then leftclick diablo3, diablo3 takes playonlinux place because it was the last activated within that group, and playonlinux has temporarily moved into the drawer, untill playonlinux is activated again, or diablo3 and all other drawer items are closed. If you get my drift =).

Rightclick Playonlinux drawer, fullsized game icons appear.
[POL] > [D3] [SC2] [WOW]
Leftclick WOW
[WOW] (closed, inside are [POL][D3][SC2])
Exit wow.
[POL] (inside are again [D3][SC2][WOW]'

Here both D3 and WOW launched, while Wow is just in the background im playing D3 atm.
[D3] (inside are, [WOW](with some sort of active indicator, maybe icon glow or something) [POL] [SC2]
if i switch over to wow, it replaces D3 in the unity bar.
[WOW] (inside [D3] w/activityindicatory [POL][SC2]

That's how id like it done anyway. Also perhaps an option to have all active icons within the drawer give a permanent spot to the right of the main unity icon. Here with this option all 4 are active, pol d3 wow and sc2, with d3 in focus and playing.

Interesting concept, but I don't think I can implement it. Something like that would probably need tighter integration with the Unity launcher. My program is more stand alone.

Can you tell me though, does the drawer appear ok for you? What I see in my virtualbox installation is that the iconview background is not transparent or the correct color. Do you have that issue? If so, could you open a bug for it.

Thanks,
Ian
