grid in cm display

Is it possible to have the grid spacing displayed in cm instead of pt?
Similarly, can the canvas be set in cm?

Actually, I just found the answer... the solution is to navigate to the Preferences menu and there is the option to change the units. Pretty interesting piece of software!! Thank you
