DOLFIN

nightly snapshot release without VTK support

The error message I get with plot (ubuntu packages) is
*** Warning: Plotting not available. DOLFIN has been compiled without VTK support.
Would be great if this could be included.

Ubuntu 11.10 (32 bit)

Ubuntu 11.10 only has VTK version 5.6, while plotting in the development versions of DOLFIN currently requires VTK 5.8. There is a branch (lp:~jobh/dolfin/plot) that adds support for older versions of VTK but this hasn't been merged into trunk yet.
