Function space depending on subdomain

Asked by Claas Abert

Is it possible to use different function spaces for test and trial functions depending on the subdomain?
Particularly I'm interested in using CG1 in one and CG2 in another subdomain.
I'm using UFL and the C++ API.

Thanks in advance, Claas

No, but it has been discussed and we have a blueprint on it.

I doubt it will be implemented before the release of DOLFIN 1.0.
