openoffice icon missing?

Asked by jcrow

I am using Ubuntu Karmic and sometimes gnome-shell, and when I open OpenOffice there is a question mark icon instead of the OOo icon. I am using the default OOo from the Ubuntu repository without gnome integration - I don't like the ugly brown and orange theme.

I think there are several open bugs with regards to OOo. We do custom matching to handle OOo applications, but it is a bit picky.

Check the open bugs, if one/more seems relevant comment on them. If none seem at all like the problem you are seeing file a new one.

Can you help with this problem?
