blank space next to docky icon when no windows open

Asked by Danarchy

I have no docklets or helpers turned on. I just use Docky as a taskmanager, to see what windows I have open. When no windows are open, there is the docky anchor icon, and then a blank space to the right of it, sort of an invisible icon. Is this normal? When I open a window, its icon replaces the "blank space" next to the docky icon. I seem to remember when I first installed Docky, when I had no windows open, there would only be the centered docky icon with no blank space to the right of it.

We set a minimum dock width of 2 icons. So if all you have on your dock is the Docky icon then yes, there should be an invisible icon next to it which is replaced when you open a window.

Can you help with this problem?
