proxy support for the plugins

Some plugins, weather an gmail, are not working when you are behind a proxy. Is there a way I can change that? I'm using the "Network proxy preferences" to change my settings.

I dont believe any dev uses a proxy, so I am guessing it is not possible. I wrote both of those docklets and I did not specifically add support for proxies.

I'm guessing this should be easily fixable with GLib. I'll take a look at it at some point.
