Can Docky be used with multiple monitors?

Asked by Jeffrey Honig

I run with two monitors, displaying separate content (Not Twinview or Xinerama).

If I try to start Docky on the second monitor I get:

kismet [1017]: docky
Docky appears to already be running. Exiting...

Version: [Info 21:14:18.447] Docky version: bzr docky r970

I'd like to run separate docks on each monitor and only show the apps running on that monitor.

Thanks.

Jeff

Docky can be used on multiple monitors, though currently only on one xserver. From what I understand, you're running a multi-head setup each with a separate xserver.

In X terminology, one Xserver, two ``Screens''. Different DISPLAY addresses.

Is there somewhere I should submit a feature request?

Thanks.

Sorry, wrong terminology, but I understand what you're after :)

I've created a bug report out of this question here: bug #499327 so that I and the other devs can discuss and track progress.
