Why take out the Zoom Option when in Panel Mode should be left up to the user...I loved them both but together

I would love to have the zoom option enabled when the panel mode is selected...I really love them both but together...shouldn't that option be left to the user

Because it wasnt working with how panel is currently implemented. It may return at some point.
