Gmail notifier archive, etc.

Asked by Ben VB

It would be really cool if you could use code from the Checkgmail project (http://checkgmail.sourceforge.net/) to have the Docky Gmail docklet give access to options to archive/spam/etc. various messages, without actually needing to go to the Gmail inbox.

I think that's a little bit beyond the scope of the gmail plugin. We just want to show the titles of new messages. More advanced handling of the messages can be done in the web browser.

Officially, Google only provides read-only access to GMail (their Atom feed) and this is what we use. I do not want to do the hacks that CheckGMail uses to make changes to GMail accounts. So this won't be implemented.

Well, that's disappointing, but it makes sense.
