Difference between Intellihide and WindowDodge

What is the difference between the Intellihide and the WindowDodge mode in Docky. I fail to see nay.

Intellihide will hide only if the active application has a window overlapping the dock. Window dodge doesnt care if the overlapping window is part of the active application.

Say you have 2 windows: 1 text editor and 1 terminal. The terminal is active and has focus. If terminal overlaps the dock, both modes will hide. If the text editor is overlapping the dock, ONLY window dodge will hide.
