Asked by Matthew Pirocchi

Aside from "the fear of departing through a window", that is.

This hide mode is very similar to Intellihide mode.

Intellihide mode will hide if any window of the active window group is overlapping the dock.

Defenestraphobia mode hides if any window on the desktop overlaps, regardless of if it is in the active group or not.

Oh nice, that could come in handy. I was having this problem testing my Gtk# application and using MonoDevelop at the same time--MonoDevelop and my application aren't of the same group, so docky would obscure the application output. This could be a good solution!
