trying to personalise my docky

im new to ubuntu. how do i change the icon on an application ive added to docky? Tia :)

Just edit the corresponding .desktop file in /usr/share/applications/ and put the path for the icon you want.

You should be able to do that by entering in a terminal window

sudo gedit /usr/share/applications/[application-name].desktop
