Tab Switcher in Dock

Many browsers now, and probably all in the future will support tabs. Is there an existing way for Docky to grab your existing tabs in something like Firefox or Chrome/Chromium and switch to them instead of the window directly?

No. And for the foreseeable future I don't see this as possible. FYI, it would at the very least require you run a plugin of some sort in every browser you use.

BAMF (which Docky may switch to at some point) is working on something like this. I do not know the status of it though, as we don't use it.
