stop main icon from changing color?

Asked by tacticalbread

When running Docky with the 'Any Color You Like' icon theme (can be found on DeviantArt), which changes the color of all icons with a python script, Docky's main icon (on the dock itself) changes color twice over, changing to a color that matches neither the ACYL theme, nor the GTK+ 'selected background' color.

As far as I know, it's not an option now, and I'm sure if I asked for it to be an option, it would get rejected. I'm simply asking if it's even as simple as commenting out a function, and recompiling, or something like that. I'm not a programmer, but I understand the basics, and probably could do it myself if I knew where to look. I looked around in the source code, but my understanding of C# isn't nearly good enough to figure it out myself.

Thanks in advance. :)

You are right, it will not be an option. We do have an option to remove the Docky icon from the dock.

And yes, you could probably comment out some line(s) of code and stop it.

Well, thanks for the (rather unhelpful) response, but I've decided to switch docks. I like Docky's simplicity, but technical support is rather unsatisfactory.

Can you help with this problem?
