A setting in docky

Asked by Switching Maybe

I love docky, and it's a great edition to my gnome desktop, but I have one simply question.

I love how docky stays above my webpages, but I also hate seeing it when I exit all my webpages and enter my desktop. I was wondering if there was a code or something that gave me the ability to make docky hide automatically when all my webpages are minimized and when I'm just on my desktop, and when I open back up a webpage docky reappears.

Thanks in advance and I hope I don't get any disappointments!

Btw - I tried wording this as simply as possible

I don't want it to completely go away when I close all my programs, but I want it to go on auto-hide until I open applications again.

That is like the opposite of every type of 'hide' mode in any dock ever. So no, that is not and will not be possible.
