Power management in CPU docklet?

Asked by Thierry Frenkel

I found this information from last March on the web:
http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2010/03/docky-cpu-docklet-to-add-power-management-control/

Unfortunately I couldn't yet find the improved functions in the current ppa. Is there a way to try out at least a beta release? This would allow me to remove the ugly cpufreq applet from the gnome-panel of my IBM T42...

This functionality never made it into our dev branch. It was created by another user and never quite worked correct.

Thank you for the quick reply although I'm not really happy with it. Unfortunately I'm not a developer, so that I could reverse-engineer the gnome cpufreq applet...

I'll continue to have a look on Docky's French translation template and do my best from this side, hoping that one day someone other will do his best to integrate the complete gnome-panel functionality into Docky docklets.

Can you help with this problem?
