Do not update weather&gmail automatically, why?

When I reboot the computer, the weather and gmail docklets don't update, they just show nothing,
but when I quit docky, and run it again, it works. It's also OK when I log out, then log in. The problem
occurs only when I reboot my computer, and the weather docklet shows "Click to add a location".
And when I click to update the weather, it always keeps updating, but shows nothing.

If you find the solution, please advise, for I have the same issue here... but the difference is that it never ever check for mail, it used to... but not anymore.
