Can I drag & drop a file and copy into a folder on docky

Yes, you can.

Just drag the file into the folder.

I'd just like to add that the drag+drop behavior is similar to what nautilus does. If the source and destination are on the same filesystem, drag+drop will move the source to the destination. If they are on different filesystems (ie, computer -> usb drive / network drive / etc) drag+drop will copy the source to the destination
