Dock Not Expanding When New Application Is Opened

Asked by Jesse Millwood

I am not sure if I do not have a setting set correctly that is causing my issue or if it is a bug.

My issue is that my dock at the bottom of my screen normally shows the 6 applications that I have pinned to it. When I open an application there is a white arrow that appears to the right of the right most application on my dock, when clicked the dock scrolls over. This can be seen in this picture: http://imgur.com/yItw18f

I would like it to show all of the applications that are pinned and opened in the dock without the need to scroll over (expanding and contracting as applications are opened and closed). When I right click on the dock and open the properties dialog there is a check mark with no label next to the "type" dropdown menu in the "Dock" tab (http://imgur.com/MLcBjRZ). When I click this, the check mark disappears and I can see all of the pinned and open applications, the way I want it to appear (http://imgur.com/18VgDXe). When I open another application however it acts the same by adding that little white arrow so that I have to scroll to see the next set of applications on the dock.

If anyone can help me out with this I would appreciate it. All in all I really I like this project you people are doing some great work!

Also, I am running this on Xubuntu 14.04 not as a panel plugin though. I am using the Glass Dock Theme, Colors Theme (appearance), and DBX window list style.
If this behavior that I am looking for is not intended by the devs just let me know and I'll let it be.

Hi,

I talked to the developer (here: http://www.webupd8.org/2014/06/dockbarx-091-released-with-bug-fixes.html) and he confirmed it's a bug so I hope the devs will soon look at it.

Can you help with this problem?
