MATE support 1.8 in sight?

Hi,

my name is Mike Gabriel and I am member of the Debian MATE packaging team.

I would like to provide dockerx for MATE in Debian. Is there any version of dockerx in sight that will support MATE 1.8 (i.e. dconf/gsettings based configuration etc.)?

It's planned but sadly not anywhere near in sight yet. If gsettings is the only problem, that should probably be doable if you need to move from pygtk to gobject inspection as well (someone suggested that somewhere, I think) it might be quite a bit trickier.

I will look into gsettings sometime soon, when I have some time for it.

Can you help with this problem?
