Open 'Recent Documents' using Gnome-Do

Is there any plugin or something that will let me access the list of 'Recent Documents' from the Places menu in GNOME? I envision typing something like 'Recent..." in Gnome-Do and a list of recently opened documents appear from which I can pick the one I wish to open.

Doesn't seem like this is possible at the moment. See the linked bug.
