Does Gome-DO recognize binaries in /usr/local/bin

I installed swiftweasel in /usr/local/bin, and I'm able to run via Gnome Do it by typing in the full name, but it doesn't auto-complete. Why is that when there are no other options presented after typing "swiftwe" ?

Do uses the name in your applications menu. If swiftweasel doesn't have a
.desktop file in a standard location, we won't find it.
