integration with AWN applets

Do the Gnome do devs consider the option of trying to integrate the AWN applets for Gnome do? This can make use of ton of work that was (and is) being put for the AWN project. I prefer the Gnome Do dock, but I still miss some of the applets that are available with AWN and wish I could just add them...

I tried this, its possible but very difficult. However there are more docklets coming in the future that should more or less solve this issue.
