Can I add a Gnome menu to Docky?

Asked by fipi

Is it possible to add a Gnome main menu to Docky? I couldn't find anything like that in the preferences. If I could do that then I would have no need for a panel or another dock bar.
Docky rocks!

No not yet, but we've talked about it a couple of times. Obviously you can
quickly search through your installed applications, but without the
categorisation of the main menu. We may add this in a future version.

It would be nice if you had an ETA on this. Because in docky mode, I cannot type to search when I hover my mouse over docky. This will really limit users who have gnome-shell.

I'd really love this feature. It would enable me to run my 2nd disply without any panel.

This is the thing I was looking for. It would be great if there would be a way to add any gnome-panel's app, not only the gnome main menu.

Thanks for reading :)
