Gnome-Do error with evolution

To support this question: I encounter the same problem:

Here are the details:
System: Ubuntu 9.04
Gnome do: 0.8.1.3
Evolution: 2.26.1

Hint that terminal gives:
(Do:4420): libebook-CRITICAL **: file e-book.c: line 2149: assertion `book && E_IS_BOOK (book)' failed
Evolution.ContactItemSource "Evolution Contacts" encountered an error in UpdateItems: file e-book.c: line 2149: assertion `book && E_IS_BOOK (book)' failed.

The contacts in evolution are imported from gmail using vcard if that makes any difference.

I did a little reserach of this and this is a known bug. There is a workaround for intrepid - if you're using that. For jaunty it seems like we'll have to wait.
