Installing alternative icon instead of default icon disables GNOME-do search function

Asked by savalas

Hello at all,

problem is,

...installing an alternative / selfcreated icon, instead of the purple default icon in docky, disables GNOME-do search via shortcut <Super>space!? Alternative shortcuts have the same problem.

I changed the /usr/share/icons/hicolor/256x256/apps/gnome-do.png and /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/gnome-do.svg into alternative one. Effect is the disabled search function via shortcut as mentioned above!

After replcing the alternative icon with the purple default one,...GNOME-do search function is enabled again.

Hello Alex,

very strange, today I uninstalled gnome-do and after that I installed it again. I put my selfcreated icons in the right place and for the moment it works!

Thanx for your support and maybe there will be a chance for an easier way to change icons in GNOME-do docky by preferences or so in the future!?
