Intranet Page not available on domain

Hi There

I am new to linux and just set up an intranet server for our local network using ubuntu... i have set up the linux server to be routed through our dns server. I can access the intranet page on only machines connected to the local network and not on the domain. the moment i try with a machine that is on our domain it doesnt display the page and wont even display the page even if i type the ip address of the server

Found the problem

have to set it to a static ip for the dns server but for some reason ubuntu doesnt like the static ip so i just did an ip reservation and presto it worked
