Gnome Session plugin not woking in Gnome Do 0.7.98.1 release

I activated the GNOME Session plugin and it does not work for me. When I type in for example "shutdown" the appropriate action is shown however after pressing Enter nothing happens. This is the same with "restart" etc.

I have GNOME-Do 0.7.98.1 installed on Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10. No error is given, its just not working.

Just upgraded to 0.7.99 and get the same behaviour.
