Excluding folders and their content from being indexed

Asked by Parthiban Balasubramanian

Hi, I'm not sure if there's already a way to do this in the 'Files and Folders' plugin. I would like to exclude certain folders from being indexed. Is there a magic number (0 or -1) for the folder depth that accomplishes this? I vaguely remember -1 being used to index the folder to infinite depth (large number).
Some folders with lots of small files are resulting in wasteful indexing and messing up my results.
Thanks.

I've been working on this, and I've added this functionality. I believe that this isn't going to make it into the next release of do-plugins (0.8.1) because it's too close, but it should be there soon. Also, I have more information on the bug reports you posted in do-plugins.

Can you help with this problem?
