Do

Why doesn't Do display my last-run command on summon?

Asked by smor

Hi!

First, let me thank you for this wonderful piece of software! I'm a Quicksilver addict on Macs and it does fill most of my needs on my ubuntu eee pc (no performance problems here).

I have a feature request, though. I wished I could type "<super>space" and "enter" to relaunch the last command. This is useful in my case since I mostly use it to launch programs (the Terminal, to be precise), not files.

Even more, I think the last command should be shown entirely when launched, and the last launched commands should be available with down-arrow keypresses (at least the last acted-upon queries, actions may differ).

Since the gnome-do queries and actions are empty when it starts, it shouldn't lessen the usability of the software. Simply start typing, and these recent commands disappear, leaving rooms for the new queries/actions. This woud give Do a bit more of context when relaunched. In fact I always remember the last 2-3 commands that I launched, and I wish Do did too!

Thank you very much,
Stephane

I am waiting for this feature since the first versions of Do.

Can you help with this problem?
