Number of subdirectories searched

How many subdirectory levels does gnome-do search and can this be changed?

eg I am looking for files called 'hymns' which are kept in a directory
/home/paul/Insync/Documents/church/worship - do finds nothing.

I moved the files to
/home/paul/Insync/Documents/worship - ie. one less subdir level and do found them all!!
