Do

French translation and Lauchnpad use

Asked by Blacko

Hi,

I downloaded your program about a month a go and I'm now addicted to it!
I wanted to help a little bit (I'm not a developer), so I went on
Lanchpad - Rosetta - to translate GNOME Do in French.

However, I saw that the project wasn't so well started in Rosetta.
There's no online translation available. Is it supposed to be like this?
Why?

So, I downloaded the translation archive with all the *.po files. I found
the original translation from English to Catalan. And completed the
French file based on it. I want to upload it on Rosetta, but will it
have to be approved by someone, your team?

I'd like to ask you if it would be possible to allow online translation
for your project. I think it would be quite easier to translate using
this way.

Anayway, your project is really great, I was looking for something like
this for Gnome since a long time! Don't give up and give me news please.

There is a bug holding up the use of the Resetta translations. Please subscribe to the bug. Once it's corrected you should be able to perform the translation as you'd like.
