Do

Why doesn't GNOME Do show app menu entries I've added myself?

Asked by SlugO

I've noticed that when I use GNOME Do it doesn't let me choose the applications that I've added to the GNOME menu myself. This is a problem because there still are some applications that don't add their icon to the menus automatically. I also have to add menu entries manually when I install an application simply by unpacking it to /opt.

GNOME Do also doesn't notice the changes I've made to some of the menu entries. For example I've set that Foobillard starts with an AI opponent but GNOME Do doesn't start it with the parametres I've added to the menu item.

So is there any way to enable GNOME Do to use also self added and custom menu entries? Or could this be added in a future version?
